Lake Martha Association Meeting

Minutes

The meeting was called to order at 7:15. Correction to the minutes the picnic is scheduled for August 22nd.

The treasures report was read by Cheryl. There is a checking balance of $630.52 and a savings balance of $1,854.26.

Steve Hancock contacted Virgil Wagner about providing park for the picnic Virgil will do it The price will be $10 for family $5 for individuals we should set up a game committee. We will need a house for the September meeting.

Dave's haven't reported that the clarity is 9 ft. The average for this time of the year is for 1981 to '91 has been 3 ft. Last year at this time it was 4 ft. The clarity dropped right after the weeds went down but then cleared up again.

Updated everyone on the Lake Restoration Dale Hogan has been doing some testing with a variation of this treatment it seems to be killing milfoil. He will be getting funding from the state to treat other lakes. He will like to treat the shallow areas of Martha with this material. This would be our second treatment.

Brad receives some information from the DNR on milfoil. They would like us to have watchdogs for milfoil. They're holding a seminar that we should have someone attend. Steve Frump and George Ladd might be able to go.

The next meeting is at the Hancocks.
